MISSION STATEMENT:

To continue the pursuit of excellence towards a successful, organized baseball program in which the youth of the community may learn and enjoy the game of baseball as well as the principles of good sportsmanship and team play.

 2010 LEAGUE INFORMATION

AGES:  Casper Youth Baseball League is for BOYS AND GIRLS, AGES 7-18.  April 30th is the date cutoff, so whatever age a player is on April 30th is their "League age". 

REGISTRATION FEE:  $155 (This fee can be paid in full at time of registration, or you can pay $55 at registration and then sell 10 of our Home Run Cards to raise the other $100.  The Home Run Card money must be turned in by April 26th.)

REGISTRATION DATES: February 22nd - March 26th, 2010

Late fees apply to all late registrations!!!!

Late registration, Session I- March 27th - April 10th

$10 late fee.  Player is guaranteed to be placed on a team.

Late registration, Session II-  After April 10th

$15 late fee.  Player will NOT be placed in the draft and is NOT guaranteed to be put on a team.  They must wait 1 week after they sign up before they will be placed on a team, and ONLY if there is an opening available.

OTHER IMPORTANT DATES:

All DRAFTS take place the week of April 12th.

Teams PRACTICES may begin any time after their draft occurs.  The Team Managers set up all practice days, times and locations.

SEASON OPENER is Saturday, May 8th.

WHEN WE PLAY:

Games are typically held Monday through Thursday evenings, with games beginning at 5:45pm and 7:45pm while school is in session and then 6:00pm and 8:00pm after school is out.

We play the season opener on a Saturday and occasionally will schedule other league games on Fridays or Saturdays if necessary.

Rain-out games frequently get rescheduled on Fridays and Saturdays.

The season runs from May 8th-late July.  All teams play in the City Tournament after league games are completed, which is either a single or double elimination tournament.  In City Tournament, we usually have games on Fridays and Saturdays also.
